Combined converter/charger vs seperate units

Hey everyone -

Even though I don't have any walls up yet (hopefully this weekend!), I've been giving a lot of thought to the whole electrical situation in my TTT. I've seen both separate charger and converter setups, as well as read about ones that are combined, like the Centurion ones that seem to be an inexpensive and complete (but somewhat more complex to wire) solution.

I'm trying to get a consensus on the way to go for the most bang for my buck. I def want both AC and DC so I can be on and off the grid if need be. I don't plan on running anything crazy on either, just a few lights, fan, and a car stereo on DC, and probably just use the AC for recharging, and misc small aux stuff that might need the AC.

Any thoughts?

I have had this type of charger in my tear and on the battery for my well (solar with elect back up).

Used in the smart mode you can leave the trailer plugged in and not worry about cooking the batteries.

We normaly do not need an inverter due to the small loads that we have.
