I have this converter but have no idea how to connect the positive and negative wires to it. Are there special connectors for this converter? Where do I get them?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
I looked through the installation manual and they didn't mention anything about a special connector plug. Looks like you place a 2 to 14 gauge wire in the output terminal and tighten it down with an 5/32" Allen wrench. All I have to go by is a drawing. Could you post a picture of the output terminals?

Joe, thats the first i've heard of using an allen wrench. I'll try that tomorrow when I have more energy.

I don't have a picture of mine but here's a better picture which I'm sure you have already seen.

Thanks,

I have the same converter. The allen screw tighens down on bare wire to hold it in place. No special connector required.

Thanks for the info, I tried that yesterday. Got everything wire only have to ground the converter and the battery and I'm set. Then finish up the running lights and close her up. I hope I can get this thing done in the next four weeks.
