DSI direct spark ignition

Postby Shadow Catcher » Mon Dec 07, 2009 8:06 am

I am thinking of trying to add DSI to a cook top. Ya got a propane stove and you are using what to light the burner, a propane or butane lighter, that may or may not what to work easily or if at altitude the butane not at all.
All you really need is a spark, not a flame.
I am thinking of adding a DSI and starting to figure out how to do it. Use a gas grill ignition kit?

You could try that or they make a hand held PIEZO ELECTRIC spark lighter....

A gas grill sparker will do just fine. Just follow the instructions on the package.
