Scored some free electrical supplies

Postby rwelp » Sun Mar 07, 2010 8:44 pm

Went to a friends house today and found out he was going to scrap an rv he has had on his property for a while. He told me to get anything I wanted off of it, so I grabbed up a dc power converter, breaker box and the power cord for plugging into a 30 amp plug.

Now if I can just learn how to hook it all up. I am also going back tomorrow with some tools to get a couple of windows and vent/fan too.

Well I'll just follow your lead then and let you make the mistakes for me to learn from. ;)

That converter is almost identical to one I picked up from an RV that a guy was gutting to make a car trailer. I was able to grab anything I wanted for pretty cheap!

Couldn't find much info on them online though. Seems to be a defunct company.
