90w Solar panel installation

I purchased a 90w panel from UL Solar to mount permanently onto the flat roof of my Camp-Inn Raindrop - along with the Morningstar SunSaver 10a controller.

For those who may be interested, here are a few photos of the installation:

The panel is mounted, but the cables have not been run yet.


The cables run down through the roof...


...along the edge of the window trim...


...and into the front storage box.
From the controller, the cables to the battery only have to run to the nearby 12v outlet.

We are going to do some boondocking this weekend and see how well the panel performs. So far, even though the trailer has been in the garage, the charging light is always on during the day.

I am getting my 210 watt panel from sunelec.com along with a xantrex c35 controller from the same website on Monday!

I cant wait to get it all mounted and be able to plug into the sun.

I will be boondocking for the next year in my Ogre Rv

what kind of batteries are you using

I purchased two golf cart batteries from Sams club. 220 amp

Boy that panel is a perfect fit for the space you have. Tidy installation of the wiring too. Post an update after you've tried it out. I bet you love it.

please let us know how it works for you. I am planning a off road tear for my photography business. Most of the time I will be in the middle of no - where with no hydro hook ups around.

Hey all - sorry about not posting back here sooner.

The panel is working wonderfully. I highly recommend www.ul-solar.com

Their panels seem to be much less expensive than others, but work great as far as I can tell.
