On the way to find out information on solar stuff I found a neat tip on how to find the actual manufacturer of a battery by looking up the MSDS (material safety data sheet) which lists the manufacture. This idea was found on the website BATTERY MANUFACTURERS AND BRAND NAMES LIST http://www.batteryfaq.org this webpage also has a master list.
