battery ?

hello can i hook up my battery charger to the wires for my battery (that i dont have yet)and test my system ?

you can try it, but not all battery chargers will put out any current unless there is enough of a load on it. A cheaper (non-comercial) unit usually will

Or you could temporarily run jumper leads from your tow vehicle battery to the trailer connections to perform the tests.
