TD insurance

Postby Finntec » Mon Aug 01, 2005 8:22 am

I was wondering if anyone has dealt with insurance companies in NYS? I hope to finish my TD this week and will then register it as a utillity trailer. I wanted to insure it for safety. What's your experiences?

Oops.

Sorry - responded to a different message and then tried to remove it.

Don't "should" on yourself, there are plenty of others who will "should" on you for no reason. Accept what you did and move on. Life is too short.

RayandDebbie-
I'm not exactly sure if you can insure a utility trailer in NY. I have insured my camper though at a very minimal cost. It was only about 30 dollars a year thru State Farm a few years ago.
I noticed that you are from Syracuse. I live in Liverpool. Would love to see your completed teardrop as I am just starting mine. I also own a restored 1960 Metzendorf 10ft trailer.

Your liability insurance for your car will cover you if you cause an accident with the tear. You can get seperate insurance if you wnat to cover it for collision. AAA costs about $100 per year for it.
