Flexible LED Chart & Map Light

I just bumped into these flexible gooseneck LED chart & map lights.

Have any of you used them, or have recommendations for similar. I've looked at quite a few, $70 each gets some that I really like but this one at ~$20 is more in line with what I want to spend. I think I'd like the ability to unplug them from the 12V outlet too.

You might want to check around truck stops or places that cater to truck drivers. They usually have a good selection of 12 volt goodies. I have one that came with a battery starter that works ok.

Good idea.

Got these to see if they might work as low output sconces, perhaps porch night light:

Both are tiny units. The first type have arrived. I think they will make nice, low-illumination sconces in the cabin. I might mount them outside to give off just enough light so I won't stumble when walking back from the bath house in the middle of the night. Not sure, but they're neat, low power units.
