Nancy, I live too far away to give physical help (more than 500 miles). So, I waited to see if anyone would reply. While I’ve found that electrical isn't that difficult, helping another with theirs can have liability issues. Miles can keep people from offering but so can the possible liability.
While you may not get a physical help from many, you can still get help here; but, you have to give us more before we can give you advice. Explaining what you plan to do might help you get the physical help that you think you need, too.
This morning, I was still concerned about your need, when I realized that I haven't even seen a drawing of what you plan to do. Also, the pictures in your album are so small that it’s hard to see what you have. If I were you, I would start by drawing out what your electrical plans are and then take a picture of it and post it in your gallery and in this thread. Keep it as simple as you can. Simply draw out a rectangle to represent your trailer and mark where you want your lights to be installed; if you plan on a fan, indicate where that will go and the same with where you plan to have your battery, etc. Is your plan going to be both DC (battery) and AC (house current) or just DC? Are you planning on a converter or just a battery charger? Don’t worry that you’re not using some fancy program; just draw it and give us the answers so we will have a better idea of what you’re doing. Do you have your fixtures yet? Show us either by using a website picture or by taking a picture of it. But, please make your pictures bigger so we can see what we’re looking at. If you can, upload the drawing and a picture of the inside of your trailer in what I believe is the maximum allowed on the forum, which is 640 by 480 pixels.
It looks like you have a lot to do to finish your trailer; but, even if you don’t finish your wiring, there are ways to get it to the point that you might be able to continue on with your insulation, etc, and get it camp-able for IRG. Then, maybe you can get more help or advice when you are there.
I suspect that, as soon as you post your electrical plan, you’ll start getting a ton of advice, etc. Also, once the big picture is out on the forum, ask for more information; but, in little steps/pieces so that it is easier for people to answer and relate to.
Okay, it’s time for a Mama Sharon lecture.
For years, women have been told that they couldn’t do certain things. It was implied that they were too weak or too stupid. Men, on the other hand, were told that they could. What that did to women was make them think they couldn’t and made them afraid to try. What it did to men was make many of them think that not only could they; but, it made them feel that they’d be embarrassed if they didn’t or couldn’t; so, most men aren’t afraid to find out and try. The answer is actually somewhere in the middle of the mess that we’ve all been brainwashed with. The most important thing that you need to do most things is a good, working brain; and, most people, be they man or woman, have that. Simply put, that means the chances are good that: YES, YOU CAN!
