I finally tested my 12v electrical system in conjunction with active 110v as well. Using my external power link to 110v (garage power), I ran 110v lights and fan, and used the Schumacher XCS15 charger/maintainer to charge the 12v Optima Yellowtop. The computer case fan ventilators were running at the same time, off of 12v. I had drained the battery down to 12.1v reading (per my Schumacher inverter readings, confirmed by test meter, and the charger scale) having let it sit for 8 months, never charging it since new, and running the case fans and stereo for hours on end. I switched the XCS15 on, it chose 12v automatically, then I selected AGM to match my Optima, and then selected "turtle" not "hare" for charging rate. The readout of battery % read 50%!! I worked on my trailer for about an hour, and it read 65% charged. I accompanied my wife to HD for another hour or two (I lost track!), and returned, and moved new countertops into her new office space, then checked the charger again. 100%. I then switched it off, glad that my wiring and equipment choices were OK. Instead of an offshore converter box, I bought a brand I trusted, and am well pleased that it worked as I had planned. FYI
