My cargo trailer conversion is equipped with a ham shack (actually, it's a ham shelf

) I have an Icom 706 mk2 covering VHF and HF. I have a mount on the roof for my hamsticks. 20M and 40M seem to work the best. I also have a 5/8 wave VHF whip mounted on the trailer roof. The nice thing about my 7x16 CT is that the metal roof makes a nice ground plane. Most of the time I use the radio to listen to and check into various IRLP based nets. Sometimes I'll tune up the HF side if I know the band conditions are good. Future plans include installing a 30 foot telescoping mast so I can raise my dipole. I also have various handhelds for use in and around the trailer.
