Hi,
Has anyone run into a list or review of pure sine wave inverters (12V DC to 12 VAC) with low idle/stand-by power usage? The idle power usage seems to vary significantly and its important if you are trying to run 120VAC continuously off 12 V batteries.

How many watts continuous is needed?
Does it have to be able to handle any particular size surge as in starting a fridge compressor?
