Solar charging question

Postby nsfr1206 » Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:08 pm

I’m thinking about adding solar and a charger to my build. At this point I have a charger hooked to battery and when I am on shore power or if I’m using a generator it will charge from my 110.

My question is what happens when I have solar power coming in and I’m on 110 also. Do both chargers attempt to charge the battery? Do I need to have a switch where I take one out of the system? Help me get my head around this probably simple problem….

After reading some more I see that the two charging systems won’t really affect each other and both can be hooked up and used simultaneously. If this is bad info please let me know.
