AC and DC on one multi-gang outlet cover?

Postby joelwookiee » Fri Oct 07, 2022 3:31 pm

Has anyone seen an electrical outlet cover that includes 1 1/8" round holes for 12V, USB, switches etc, and a decora-style rectangular hole for a GFCI outlet? I'd like to keep my electrical wiring appearance clean in the kitchen area, and rather than cutting multiple holes in a panel, one big multigang panel would keep it all lined up.

Ideally:
Gang 1: Small circular switch + USB charger
Gang 2: 12V "cigarette lighter" outlet
Gang 3: GFCI

(Hmm, I've also got the power monitor panel, that's a non-standard rectangle)

You can use a regular three gang box with a low voltage partition inserted. Then drill out blank single gang decora inserts for the low voltage devices.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Yeah, that'll work.... I was hoping to avoid drilling my own holes (neatly)
