How long will a 50W item last on a 200watt battery pack?

Assuming my quick math is correct and assuming that your "200 watt battery" is actually a 16ah 12v battery in like new condition and not a "max output of 200 watt power pack" or some other voltage you could expect 90-120 minutes of use before the battery is dead.

Watts/Volts=Amps
Amps*Volts=Watts

so 16ah of battery storage and 4ah of demand and a typical battery can only give up 40-50% of it's energy storage without damage.

https://drprepare.com/178wh-portable-power-station-/

This is what I have. I'm looking for a calculation of time it will take to run down the battery. I always make sure I get something less than 150 watts, but I never know how long the Dr Prepare will last. The above post doesn't habits answer my question.

If you have a calculation, please post it! Thank you!!

Perhaps I missed it, but I don't see what you're trying to power.

But that little box should run a 150-incandescent light bulb for an hour. And that's assuming they aren't lying about it.

I think what trips me up is the kwh. Appliances don't have kWh listed on them. What am I missing?

178 watt hours divided by 50 watts is 3.52 hrs

Since you can't run your battery down to zero, even with LiFePo battery, figure about 3 hrs. max.

Batteries are rated on CAPACITY, that is current (amps), or power (watts) times the hours they can maintain that output so kWh or Ah.

An applicance in rated on the RATE it consumes power. Typically power (watts) but sometimes current (amps).

Once you convert to get the units the same you can divide the capacity by the rate to get time.

A couple items ill be using is the fridge. I have a little laundry agitator. Put it in a bucket and i can wash few items. I would like to use a crock pot or slow cooker. Might use it for the inside lights. Charge the tablet or phones. Thats about it. The only thing that will be connected constantly is the fridge. Everything else is maybe a few hours. Ive had the fridge plugged in for 24+ hours before i needed to recharge the power pack. Ill also have the 100 watt solar panel connected as well. The crockpot i have is 95 watts. I found one that uses 75 watts but its so small. I figure we can cook something while driving.
So figuring out how long something will run before depleting the power pack would help me better prepare for our trip.
Also, we have a small property with no electric. Being able to figure out run time would be so beneficial.

Fridge? How many amps or watts does it use?

Unless it’s next to nothing, that little battery isn’t going to work.

"Works like a charm." You've run it with your box then?

It looks to me to consume 45 watts. Isn't your battery 150 watts or so?

The issue with a fridge is initial cool down and then how often you open it. If you can load it with cold food and/or do the cool down on mains power, it doesn't take a tremendous amount of power to maintain low temps.

What I've done with coolers is load them with frozen water bottles instead of ice. You can drink the water as it melts.

200 watts
178wh

Lasts overnight with plenty of battery left in the morning. I can't remember how many watts it pulled when it cycled. Ill have to take a pic next time I use it.
I was thinking of upgrading to a 300 watt battery pack, but I don't think I need it.
