we have a problem....

Folks, I have posted this here because most of the problem is in this forum....

We have an open and freewheeling board here with very few resrtictions and have asked and relied on members to police themselves and by and large it has worked out wonderfully well

Too many on the section of the forum express their opinion as fact and will brook no argument with that opinion...this has resulted inna a lot of nastiness going on...this cannot continue...heck my nerves cannot stand too much more of it...We have members who are afraid to post in this section and members who are spoiling to fight someone just becasue of past differences...I ask ALL to remember that it takes two to fight and if you feel someone is wrong, don't address that directly but give your opinion and leave it at that...if you feel someone is trolling...IGNORE them.

I ask all to remain civil, if there is someone you just can't stand...ignore them and go on...I and the other admins do not wish to ban or censor anyone because we value everyones right to an opinion but the constant bickering must stop...you may say..."but I didn't start it" ...well if you are participating in it then you are part of the problem too

The admins will continue to monitor this situation and will counsell with any involved and well as with each other but if forced we will take measures that some would condsider heavy handed, upto and including removing members, censoring members or even removing the electrical secrets forum...PLEASE folks, try and work with us on this...this situation must be resolved...SOON

Well... YEAH! If people didn't think their opinion was fact, they wouldn't express it, now would they?
