Outside view of my curtains. Wally World hand towels, cheap.
I hung the curtains using a 1/2" wooden dowel. Attaching the curtain to the rod with 3" velcro strips. To raise the curtain I just roll it up on the rod.
A simple method to adjust the tension on your tent or tarp rope. A 4" length of a 1" dowel rod. Drill a small hole 1/2" from each end. The size of the hole depends on the diameter of your rope. The hole should be just big enough to insert the rope with a little resistance. The length of rope I use is 11'. That gives me a couple of extra feet in case I need to move my tent stakes further out from the shelter.
The angle of the dowel causes the rope to lock in place.
I use a spring clip at the end of the rope to attach to the tarp. Makes attaching the rope a lot easier than tying it.
Ya'll have a great day
