Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Here are a few new as well as interesting kitchen tents available here in Europe and Scandinavia. Thought you might enjoy to see these. Id add corner pockets into the ones that extend out so to omit the sagging ceiling. And install the fiberglass poles.

Free standing and can be closed up entirely. Just right for the teardrop. Well in my opinion anyway. Back up the tear and open the galley hatch.
These come in 4 foot as well as 5 foot and on some models its even wider so Finntastic.

I'm particularly focused on that last pic because Gidg and I like to lounge on the tailgate when we camp and cook on the teardrop tongue box.

More to the point will they ship to the US. I bumped up against that a number of times, one reason I am working with Pahaque.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the rear on each tent unzips? I would think it'd almost have to to let you out with a vehicle or trailer backed up to it? (More the last one)

I noted that Paha Que is using a variation on what I designed in their latest offerings for tears, a rear tarp/awning that is attached to the tear using a Kedar/awning rail.
We just heard from Eric that he intends to have ours complete by next week and then we will get to try out the tarp and I get to finish up installing some of the other things I have been working on.

Hello Scott, yes majority of these so called Kitchen tents zip up and are free standing. Which is nice in my opinion. Some have the side wall which can be used as an entry way.

I was looking at that sometime ago and thought it looked familiar to us.

I reckon that can be used for a great place to "sit n think" and admire the sites .

I use to back pack in Yellowstone National Park. They have back country camp grounds and at the larger ones "some" facilities. At one I stayed at the out house was a wooden platform with the seat on it. For privacy there was a canvas curtain on 3 sides. You could easily tell if there was someone using it as the curtain was about shoulder hight when setting down. It had a great view of the mountains, forest and meadow.
