I have a few LED strips in my teardrop. Cheap set from eBay. They've been going strong since I finished my build in March.

LED's do not produce UV light. Bugs see UV light only. So, sorry no bugs of any quality.

It depends on the LED ... almost every TV remote uses a UV LED to send the signal across the room ...

Nope, they are usually IR, not UV. That's why they have red plastic windows in front of them.

I used LED rope lighting on the inside of the Kitza Kamper and old style rope under the Kitza Kamper for a "porch light".
I like the effect of both. Who else is using rope lighting?

Most white LEDs are really UV LEDs shining on a phosphor that changes the light to visible light.

How about a 12V LED light show? I'm thinking this would be cool on the arch or underneath the tear like Rocky did:
