Harbor Freight Trailer - 25mm Castle Nut

Hey Guys, I have been google-ing for a hour. I can't find anyone that sells these nuts that fit the HB spindle. I called HB and they don't just sell the nut alone. Thanks!

I have not found a nut and bolt web site that sells them. Fastenal does not have them.

Is the diameter of the spindle 25mm or is the wrench size 25mm? I found a HF parts list stating the castle nut being a 20mm. Fasteners are measured by the outside dimension of the threads. Please forgive me if I am stating something you were already aware of. Bryan

Ok, I may be confused. I have the 4x8 folding trailer. My instructions don't indicate the size of the castle nut, but I read in a forum the axle spindle is 25mm. So, still trying to nail down the size of the castle nut I need.

Measure the O.D. of the threads you need the nut for with a dial or digital display caliper, the digital should convert back and forth from inches to metric, the dial type (if in inches), just divide the reading by .039370.

Example: 1 inch divided by .039370 = 25.4 mm

Harbor freight parts will probably have the nut you need. I have purchased lots of repair parts from them online that their employees knew nothing about.
