First thought... that's a LOT of steel... but I can't talk, I used a lot of steel in mine to :D ... but more importantly, your tounge is to short. Mine is 48" and I put an 18" T-box on and it BARELY cleared at tight turns.. yes, a miss is as good as a mile, but still, I would have liked to have had more. The next one will be 5'... check my album for pics of the trailer... deeper into the album you'll see the "frame drawing" I have, like yours. I used 2"x1/8" sq tubing, 2"x1/8" angle and the tounge is 3x3x3/16 Total weight of the frame, wheels, fenders, axles, jacks, etc., etc. was 400#s; 15" aluminum mod wheels and Dexter Torsion axle.

I like it. I was thinking of going just a few inches wider so it’s 6’ on the inside…

It looks good to me. All the cross members are definitely not needed, but I see they have a purpose. If you look at mine in my album, it is similar to yours in length. It is 2x2 tubing and I have one less cross member, its way strong. I used wood to frame in the under trailer part.
