I think I paid $280.00 for my 4x8 no floor trailer. What size are you wanting? A 5x8? I would look what they have on sight and see if one can work. I was told if it is a special order size that they don't usually make, it could cost quite a bit more.
Even Lowe's has a mesh floor 5x8 for around $499.00, I think.

We used the 4x8 no floor to build a trailer 6'4" (76 inches )wide and 8 ft (96 inches) long with no problem. Just used 3/4 ply for the floor to eliminate any support for the 14 inch side overhang. i had to box over the whells, but this was no problem either. paid about $289.00

I think they are charging you a "this customer want's something special tax". I got my 5x8 floorless trailer (made by CarryOn) at the local Northern Tools for 320 bucks or so.

I talked to a guy the other day and he never heard of a Torsion axle. Talking to people in a store is something I don't do "for serious" anymore. It is sad what you end up with. What happened to Little House on the Prairie days
