SIMPLE AXLE RULE

Postby Ralf » Sun Apr 13, 2008 8:56 pm

Buy your axle and take delivery BEFORE you start to build your trailer frame.

If you go with a Flexride you can also adjust your height after your build.

I used the axle as my 2nd cross member and cut my steel to fit. I raised the height after the build so it would tow level with my F150 pickup, rather than buy yet another drop hitch.
Fayetteville West Virginia, at the rim of the New River Gorge National River. Whitewater, mountain biking, rock climbing. One of BUDGET MAGAZINE'S TOP TEN COOLIST SMALL TOWNS IN AMERICA. Fetured in National Geographic Adventure Magazine., Noah Adams' (NPR) book,"Follow the River". Neww River George Bridge, 876 foot tall single arch. On Bridge Day sky divers jump from the bridge and live, most of the time.

Ok i guess i will need to order my axel first. Good idea. ok now i will have to figure what size of everything i will need. Ok going back to my other post and see if they can help me there. Wow i really dont know what I would do with out this site. Ok i guess i would bother my wife and talk her ear off. She is not real excited about this yet. I dont think she thinks i can build one.
