Steel, cut and delivered

Postby dh » Fri Sep 04, 2009 11:26 pm

Hey, I was pricing some steel today and came accross something I thought I would share with you guys,

I quoted some steel from the local Fastenall, and it turns out for just around $0.23 per foot more than I can get it from the local steel yard (When paying my company's price) I can have the steel cut to my specs and delivered to my driveway.

It does take them a little longer to get it to you, but it is an option. For me, it sure beats putting the steel on my kayak rack and hauling it home
Ignorant doesn't know any better, Stupid knows better but does it anyway.
