What's the weight difference between a 2000 lb vs. 3500 lb axle as far as the actual weight of the axle itself goes? That make sense?

Reliable torsion axles are 64 and 86 pounds respectably

Don't know for shure, but I think they are probably pretty close to each other. They use longer or more rubber tubes in the axles to rate them higher.
