Yes...the tongue can be removed for security. Thinking about the warpage issue I was thinking about a different design. What if i took angib's bolt design where the diagonals bolt to the tongue and trailer as the tongue design. My thinking is where the TD would meet the platform I would still have the reviver (single not 3) and make it where i could also take to bolt point on the TD and bolt it to the platform as well. This should take all of the back and forth play out while in this setup. Then when i didn't want the platform i could remove it and now take the tongue and slide it into the TD and bolt on the diagonals to the TD. The plus side to this is once you were setup to camp you could unbolt the diagonals from the frame, fold them together under the main bar of the tongue, and then slide the tongue under the platform or the TD up to the bolt on point on the main bar of the tongue. How will my over all design hold with a 4 wheeler on board? Most of the bigger 4 wheeler weigh between 740lbs-770lbs. Also, I think I'm going to build the "Simple" that is listed in the Design Library but thinking of adding 2 feet to it. This would make the TD 10', storage box 2', platform 5', tongue (part sticking out from the trailer) 4'. This would give me an overall length of 21'. Should i start considering double axles?
