Great source for Trailer Parts

Postby stugpanzer » Tue Mar 13, 2012 9:38 am

As I move towards finally building my first Teardrop, I am in the acquisition phase of parts for my build. I am building from scratch, from the ground up and so I needed an axle/spring/hub set. I looked at Northern Tool and the model they had was $179 + $40 shipping to my location for a total of about $220. I found a place near my home that sells trailer parts and have quite an extensive inventory. They also will special order (which I did) and the price is reasonable. I gave them the same specs for the axle I was looking at on NT for a total of $137.39. The axle I was looking at on Northern Tool is this one: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200330531_200330531 and the one I ordered has duplicate specifications. They are called R and P Carriages located in Seneca, Illinois and their website is http://www.needatrailer.com
