Thanks Andrew,
Wow that is dear stuff, I would probably need about 8-10 sheets, so that may be out of the equation.
BTW thanks for your very instructional information sheets and drawings, it must have taken you a long time to produce them.
very detailed and very helpful.

Hi Al/chamal,

A toyhauler is a combination travel trailer [caravan] and cargo trailer of
sorts. The rear section is usually a 'garage' area. Their purpose is to allow you
to take along motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, scooters etc. [the 'toys']and also
have all the comforts of home with you when you go "camping".
They are usually quite large [and therefore heavy] and usually have beds that
fold up along the walls for transporting the 'toys' and then fold down into couches
/beds in 'camp' a/o queen size beds that'll lower down from the ceiling area
where they are stored.

The ones the forum members are trying to build are taking the same idea and
then do it in a small[er] package.

Use Google images and put in "american toyhauler rv", and you should get a
goodly amount of examples.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Hi Norm/Mezmo,

TOY hauler!, got it, duh,
I had a look at the site you mentioned, jeepers there are some enormous masters there. Now I understand dploch's Castaway toyhauler.
I'm still observing Angib's wheel position and suspension start angle posts, a joiner I am, an engineer I'm not.
Whether start angle is important with a caravan weighing only 350Kg I'm not sure, I'll keep studying

thanks for your advice

regards Alan
