New shocks on tow vehicle make trailer ride even smoother...

Postby b.bodemer » Mon Aug 13, 2007 7:17 pm

I thought my trailer towed nicely on my three week, 2100 mile trip. I've read a lot of posts where most were happy when they added shocks. My mechanic told me he'd be happy to weld up some brackets to be able to add shocks...........something I'd like to do over the winter months.

I was pleasantly surprised that my trailer had even a smoother ride because before leaving for my latest week long trip I had the shocks replaced. Made quite a difference and with my truck riding smoother and so did my trailer........................ :vroom:

Thats great news and a good point. The TV and TD when hitched together are a single unit and both have a direct on each other. A set of good shocks on a vehicle can change a vehicle for the better.
