Tongue math help

Am going to rebuild the tongue on #2(Menards bolt together trailer), and everytime I do the tongue design math I end up confused, can someone help me out, it will be a composite tongue, the overall length of the tongue will be 60" from the front of the frame, with braces meeting the tongue at 36". I am thinking of using 2x3 14ga rectangle tubing for the main tongue with 2x2 1/8 angle for the braces, I am doing the math at 1,000 lbs, but am actually figuring the finished weight will be around 800 lbs. Does the above sound right?

By my check of Andrew's tongue weight chart, you're okay. I think you could even change your 2" x 2" to 14 gauge also.
