Modifying a chassis from my 10'3" X6'6" pop-up

Postby Bobjr59 » Sat Sep 18, 2010 11:09 pm

The other day I tried to raise the top of my pop-up to start repairs when the cable broke once I finally got the top off I noticed not only the top was a complete loss, rot but a lot of the interior panels and frame was rotten as well :x. So this morning I was talking to a friend that lives an hour and half away suggested to strip it to bare frame and bring it over and modify it down to take a 4X8 floor plan just  ?

Most popups are on a 6 wide frame. most 6x8 or 6x10. These make a real nice large teardrop because you can sleep side to side. and have a real nice roomy interior and the galley can be a bit deeper also offering more storage area. Here is our co-director Scott's
