Opinions on donor trailer?

Postby Freddy the Element » Thu Apr 26, 2012 12:07 pm

This is a 5x10, exactly the size Benroy I look to build. Anyone see any reasons for me to pass up on it? Any suggested modifications?

Thanks.

I'm on the prowl for a donor. I could build my own, but I'd prefer to find something like that with a title. That being said, it looks like a pretty stout little trailer. I'm just over the hill in Castaic. If you decide to pass, I'll take it ;)

No plans to pass on it -- just trying to get my hitch sorted out! Everything hits at once it seems . . .

Frame looks pretty solid, don't think the sides are structural, they look added on, so should be no trouble to cut them off.
Axel is the unknown, but I'd say go for it.
Tongue definatly looks strong enuff
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Looks like a great trailer for a teardrop. Don't let it go.

Lost it! But hitch problems are just about sorted -- next time I'll be ready.
