stabilizer jack for Ultralight frame

I would not bother. If the axle placement is correct you do not need them, wheels and tongue jack give you three points. I use trailer level block (Giant Lego's) under the wheel to get it level.

I put screw type stabilizer jacks under my teardrop whenever I use it. I don't like the trailer (and bed) rocking on the springs whenever I roll over or move around. They are cheap and almost no effort. I don't try to level the trailer with them, that's what pieces of 2 X 6 are for.

Stabilizer jacks stop the rock and roll.... When partner moves around at nigh they keep you from being seasick form the motion.... Nothing worse then a bed moving and you have not been drinking to cause it....

I'm wondering if this is more of a problem with spring axles vs. torsion axles.

I had stabilizer jacks on my first teardrop and didn't use them after the first few trips out. We never felt like they were needed. I didn't install them on our 5-wide and glad I didn't.

I installed the BAL 'crank down' stabilizers on all 4 corners of my HF 1800# trailer before ever beginning construction of my TD. Wish now that I'd installed 'em at an angle instead of perpendicular to the tongue but, they still provide good, solid support with absolutely no 'rock'n roll'. We wouldn't be without 'em. There've been a couple of nights when we parked just to sleep/rest, & didn't unhook from the TV, so didn't deploy the stabilizers, only the tongue jack. Even with a 1150# TD on the 1800# trailer, believe me, you can feel the difference when someone moves, with just the trailer suspension providing support/stability. It's not unpleasant, just not as comfortable (for us) as sleeping with the stabilizers deployed...

What I was worried about is the frame dose not go to the back and very light.

If you can't mount to the frame, just use the screw jacks that sit on the ground. When you are done using them, just pick them up and take them with you.

screw jacks seam the best way to go. I will add some more wood to the back.
