Coleman Trailer Question

Someone help me PLEASE!!!!


I have been researching for the weight info of a 1990 coleman pop up camper.
I plan to use the trailer to build a large Teardrop camper for 2 adults and 2 kids. I plan to use something like th 2 + 2. my dimensions for the Teardrop is approx 5' wide, 10' long, and 6' high. The pop up sleeps up to 8 people. Since I can't find the weight info can anyone tell me if this trailer is strong enough??????


Please some info would be great. I can't wait to get started!!!

I used an old Apache popup for my frame. It is very heavy duty. Its made with 3 or 3 1/2 inch box steel! My TD is 4x4x12' it weighs 1120 dry . Sure wish I woulda made it 5' wide

A 2x4 treated base for the floor, bolted to frame

I replaced the 10 inch wheels with 12 inch.


Just how I did it.
