Got hub caps?

There has been a few threads lately about folks wanting to put hub caps on their 12" rims and not being able to find some made for them.

After reading these I remembered what the new Beetle owners found to be able to put old VW hub caps on their bugs to get that retro look. They are clips that were used on old 50s VW buses to hold on the caps.

Only problem I see with this approach is the fancy chrome caps aren't protected by the wheel/tire combo.
