pop-up frame

I found a pop-up camper frame to use for my teardrop. Should I use it or buy a frame kit?

ND, welcome to our little house of mad...errrr builders(hmmmm they do go together) anyway...a popup frame can be a challenge to use but many have done so...are you up to the challenge...what do you want to build...is it too wide...too long...just right...does it need modifications and can you handle them...what shape are the hubs/bearings/spindles in...you can save some money but you may turn around and spend that same money doing mods and time as compared to buying a frame from Harbor Freight, Red Trailers or Tractor Supply...remember that pictures make answering such questions easier on us and shucks we just luv 'em(pics) anyway so post some for us...the frame/you/wife/kids/neighbors/etc/etc/etc

Thanks much for the insight. I thought a pop-up would be best because I could reuse electrical and cabinetry. This would be my first attempt and I'd rather make mistakes on a low budget trailer.

I'm thinking to size a design to fit the trailer base.

Your catching on fast. I use mine for the same reasons and I need bigger cause Hubby likes the room. I am going to keep it cheap and regret it when it comes out right.
