Ok how do you install the rubber roofing? I have seen it on e-bay, but I wouldnt know how to use it. Btw I wouldnt trust the e-bay stuff to be 40 to 60 mil.

I've been sealing the plywood and roof skin with a "green" adhesive sold in most hardware store (Titebond TB GREENCHOICE Fast Grab Frp Adhesive) before I paint the wood. I apply the adhesive with a trowel and let it cure (dry) before I paint. It's a water base adhesive with no odor after it dries. I still cover my tiny trailers with aluminum but I want the wood under to be sealed. I also use the adhesive on all edges of plywood then I paint either with an "OOPS" paint (Odd color paint sold cheap) or with the color paint I want to show. I have used Marine Varnish before but after time it needs to be resealed. This adhesive is very sticky and flexible and is hard to remove off any surface so the thin layer of adhesive along with paint lasts a very long time. Just a thought
Tiny Trailer Builders of America Build it and they will come
Several guys in our group have used rubber roofing with great success. But that was on taller standy type trailers where the roof was not visible. I have not seen it on a teardrop yet. For my 3rd build I used marine vinyl that was UV protected. Still looks great today. It has to be applied with contact cement so you need lots of hands to lay it down. Kind of looks like a vinyl roof on a car.
