I have to admit i didn't build it my self. I am a self employed painter and decorater, a good mate of mine builds trailers and camper trailers. He needed some painting so we did a trade. I supplied him with the dimensions and we had some beers and this is the result.
The frame is 2650x1500, on slipper springs, electric brakes, 16" rims with 265/75 R16 tyres. The chassis outer frame is 75x25 and I think the centre rails are 25x25, not sure of the guage but I think 3 mm. It is at the steel engineers at the moment I am building the walls onto a steel frame, so they have it and the profile template i made up
The body will be 3000x1500x1500 when done

Looking good! :applause:

For the non-metric, this is basically a 5' x 10' body, and the main frame rails are 1"x3"x1/8" (roughly).

That's box-section (rectangular tubing), not angle or C-channel, right magilla? I assume that the A-frame tongue is the same material; since it does not appear to be at a 50-degree angle (it looks narrower), it's presumably not an A-frame coupler.

Is there anything interesting about the coupler?

Yes all the steel is box section, I will check the dimensions and guage when it comes back to me, but she is all good.
At this stage the coupler is bog stock standard (for australia any way) with a handbrake for parking fitted, but later on when finances allow I might put something a bit more offroad on

Roast-Christmas roast (like a roast chook or a beef, I see from TV shows you mob roast turkeys)
Chockys-Chocolate
another one I should have added was
Plonk-Wine

All three seem to have attached themselves in the form of excess body weight which now I have to get rid of in quich time, as I have a 50k mountain bike race to do in the otway ranges in about four weeks.

50k-50 kilometres=31.25 mile

Ok kids,
have started building my frame, what are your suggestions ror the roof spar and front wall spar spacings. I was thinking about 400mm spacings over the roof but what about the front

I'd go closer than 400mm... maybe 300 at the most. Thats about 12" for us non metric types. I would say make all your bracing closer or thicker or both since you will be going off road with it. You want a more rigid structure than a normal teardrop...
