My wife and I saw a Teardrop on a travel show 5 years ago and fell in love with the idea. However the cost to buy one was a little high we thought. Thus the quest for us to build one. After 2 years or research, reading posts here and talking with others that have built, we selected a design and quickly realized we still had a whole lot more to think about. We went with a set of plans form BigWoody. Early on Dave was great to ask questions of as we were preparing for this adventure. Due to Life, our project has gone slower than expected. The frame has been built and the sides were cut out but that is where we have been for the past 2 years.
Well, he time has come do this. It's heating up here in Las Vegas

and I want to be able to pull out and head to cooler climates without having to plan and pack all the camping gear over and over again. I have studied plans and read forums for as long as I can and I want to join the lifestyle now. As I get going with the real work we will post build pictures and probably ask a few stupid questions. but hey, how will I know if I don't.
When this project is done I look forward to meeting up with some of you i have read about over the years.
Thank for all your posting and I Look forward to seeing you on the road.
