Another new one, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Lurked a long time, joined and lurked some more. . . finally. I read so much I was almost depressed, everyone's stuff is so nice. Surely you're not all are cabinate makers. Then I stumbled into a solar power discussion and decided the rest were elec. enginers. But I have do have a white gas Coleman stove and kerosene lantern, much easier for me to understand. Built a T-bucket in the day, surely I can do this.
I look forward to traveling and maybe meeting some of you when this portion of the BIG adventure is over. Dave

Welcome Dave!!! No, I am not any of those professionals and I am building my own TD. I cant say I am real experienced, rich, and or a spring chick but if at 62 I can build one so can you. I am the first to say that it may not Look like one of the professional built ones but if you build it yourself you will love it and get the experience to build your second one and by then you will be able to put into it what you like and it will look a lot more zippy.

Good luck, I hope to see you out camping in a TD some day.

Well, metal. First thing, I can't rest until I change out the H.F. Trailer bolts for grade 8 bolts. Haven't read of a failure, but 39 years working on Caterpillars has impacted my ways. "Think trailer not tank" someone wrote, tanks &. Cats have a lot in common. I will/am relying on the experience of his crowd! Thanks for the warm welcome.

Oh man those have some skills involved. Might have misspoke a bit. I know more about metal than wood, but a woody is what I have in mind. With my cave man skill/tools, I think I can do it.
