Time for a new hobby. Dfw, tx

Well after a lot of things that have happened, it's time for me to pick up a hobby. I keep coming back to the teardrop idea. After talking to the wife about it, she likes the idea. Now I will have a reason to get the garage dirty.

I built scal helicopters. But Sitting at a desk isn't active and I miss camping. Can't camp in a tent anymore due to injuries when I was deployed. So a TD is the next big thing. Just have to make it big enough to put a kennel in it for my service dog to sleep. Then I will be camping like crazy again. Plus the wife supports it. It's more gratifying to her to have something for her to use than spend thousands on a toy.

Well a teardrop build is a good start for a hobby and from first hand experience they tend to never be "finished" and then there are those that are on their fourth/fifth... build.

A cool tongue box that could be used to carry that extra cooler or your gears while traveling and used at night as a kennel.

Welcome to the forums.

Oh and this is not a hobby. IT IS AN ADDICTION!! :?

Theres a few tear drops that have bunks for dog to sleep in, I got a replaceable door that has a box that hangs out of the camper for my dog, Dottie to sleep in. There is the guy working on one with storage up front for bicycles. His designs can be a made into a nice kennel for a larger working dog.
