Kurt and Kristy in Ashland OR

Hello. My wife and I just started our first teardrop project. We want to build a teardrop over the next year and then spend next summer visiting as many places as we can in the U.S. It will be a transitional time for us as we will be moving back to the southeast after our summer trip to be closer to family. We are very excited about the build and the trip.

We decided to go with the Kuffel creek 8' Cubby. We purchased the trailer a few days ago and have started the needed modifications to assemble it. While I do have some mechanical ability, I do not have a lot of experience with this level of construction. I plan on making it being a learning experience.

I am overwhelmed with how much information there is on this blog. If anyone has any suggestions on some must read material to help me with these beginning stages it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kurt

Thanks Forrest 747. I especially like that off road project. I will have to consider something like that in the future. I am going to start a new posts in the build thread to post pictures.
