Newbie from Pacific NW

Bought this beauty last weekend. Teardrop American Outbacker. Perfect for me because I like things SIMPLE and I'm tall. I'm very excited to go camping this weekend with the Teardroppers of Oregon and Washington! Glad to be a part of the forum.

My father, Dan, is very active with his Trailorboat. He tows it behind an old Saab wagon, I'm sure at least some of you have seen it. Anyways I guess he got me hooked!

Welcome! I always have fun at TOW events. Fall Brigade is at the end of September- try to join us for that one, if you can.

Where do you live in the great Pacific NW?

I am in Longview, WA. I have owned my TD for about 9 weeks and have taken it out 7 times. We have the most beautiful part of the country up here, don't we? Mountains, ocean, desert, scablands. There's so many places to see and now you have the perfect instant getaway!

Congrats!

Yes we do, I just had a great time at the LeMay open house campout as my first event. That place has always been special to me but it was a completely different experience 'living there' for 2 days.

ShadowCatcher, I've had over a dozen Saabs, currently I rally a 1975 Saab 99 and I have a 1997 9000 as a daily driver. Both my dad and I are in the TOW club, antique truck historical society NW chapter, and the Northwest Saab Owners Club. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Quinn Welcome to the group! That is a very neat little unit you have there. My wife and were attendees at Walk the Winds in Wyoming a few days ago and one of the folks had the twin to your trailer. If you look at the Walk the Winds gathering on about the last four or five pages you can see some pictures of it.The Walk the Winds thread is in the gatherings section under the North Central heading.
