Hello from Los Angeles

Postby kmagill » Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:18 pm

Hi there,
I bought a partly built teardrop a couple of days ago. It is giving me a head start. I'm sure I will be back to this forum for advice and moral support regularly.
Thanks in advance.

Ha  hahaha Great start indeed.

who need wheels. just backup and push it out. I take it, it is just a 4x8 base?

Read through some of the build logs, some have a ton of picture and can give you ideas how to finish your new treasure.

It's a 4x8 custom trailer with torsion axles and 16" wheels. Floor and walls with spars were already installed with all varnished. In order to get it home I pulled off the axles and wheels. I've since skinned it inside and out and hung the aluminum. I need to cut and install doors, put the wheels on (shopping for tires) and wire the lights then I'm nearly road ready. Latest pic attached.
