Nubey from DE, new CT toy hauler build

Hay Everyone,

Introducing my self and my plans. Dual Sport riding and Adv riding are my thing. I hit several events a year and camp at all of them. It was time to get a CT for the bike and plan for a comfort camping conversion. I still plan on the camping being primitive as most places we camp at are open fields, unimproved wood sites, logging camps and the like. I have had large CT's in the past and got tired of the tow specific vehicle and lousy gas mileage. That's why I could never commit to a medium to large factory toy hauler. Most my trips are long weekends and I have never been able to get the wife iterested in camping so it felt like a waste. So then a child and a new house and so many other things in life and I get to thinking. What if I build my own small toy hauler. I have been searching online for years and cant find something that fits the bill or is not ridiculously expensive and it still is not what I am looking for. So now its tome to get serious. I think hay I just need amenities like a teardrop has so I will really start looking into how some others have made there teardrops and I will adapt this to my idea of a tiny toy hauler. I am really thinking I am something of a genius at this point and I hit the internet. First thing that pops up is this site. My head is instantly deflated  and I come back to reality and start to see all the amazing CT conversions on here. So my pride is bruised but I am getting all kinds of amazing ideas and coming up with some of my own. Sooooo long story short.

I should be getting my 5x8 v-nose cargo trailer with factory windows and side door in a week or two. I plan on a very functional minimalist camper so that I will be able to tow it with my daily driver and hopefully not devour the gas mileage. I already have a 1600k inverter generator so that will be a factor in my build too.

I decided to join the board to share in my build like so many others have and probably ask a million questions as I now know many others have done this and I might as well ask and avoid stupid mistakes.

I relay cant believe in all the events I have been to that I have never seen a CT conversion. Maybe I will start a trend in my circles.

I look forward to everyones input and maybe along the way my skillset will be able to help someone else. Its nice to be here and I look forward to taking part on this forum.
