Teardrop Manufacturers

Postby david.misisco » Tue Mar 26, 2013 4:57 pm

Hi All;

I'm very new to the topic of Teardrop Trailers, but very much interested in buying one for my wife and I. Can anyone direct me to the most comprehensive list of Teardrop manufacturers, and possibly any reviews? Thanks in advance.

http://www.teardrops.net/mfgs2010.html#yr2011.

Grant has a very comprehensive list on his site. Although it says updated 2011, it is actually current thru 2013.

Hi,

I had done a fair bit of research before buying ours. Here are the companies I found:

Orama teardrops (the one I bought)
cozy cruiser
socal teardrops
camp-inn
Moby1
TCTeardrops
Little guy
Tex's teardrops
Tinytrailer
Mini Tears
Oregon Trail'R
Trekker trailers
DNM Trailer
Nestegg Trailers
Portland Vintage Trailers
Kodial Adventure Products

I was too lazy to gather all of the URLs (plus I've had a bit of wine so typing is tuff), but if you can't find some of these let me know. There are definitely more...some of these are northwest focused plus I didn't get all of the manufacturers out of my bookmark list.

Monterey, CA area. About 2 hours south of San Francisco, and 5 hours north of Smell-Aye.

Dave,

There are many styles and sizes that are being built but please take a look at our line of Teardrops. "tcteardrops.com" TCTeardrops are custom built and can haul kayaks, canoes, bikes etc...

Is it me or does Portland Vintage Trailer look a lot like Camp Inn?

another is Teardrops North West, They are in the south end of Salem, Oregon just west of I-5. They have really been doing some nice custom builds - their getting nicer and nicer as time goes on. (got the first one built from their shop May 2012, just a little 4 x 8 - basic - nothing fancy and still loving it) I keep watching their website along with stopping by once in a great while and just I keep getting more and more impressed with their newer builds!!
