Hello from New Zealand

Postby Kiwi Dropper » Sat Dec 28, 2013 3:29 pm

Hello.

Im from Hamilton, New Zealand.

I always went camping as a child with my family, however my wife was never into camping, until recently when she saw a teardrop and fell in love with it!

I am currently collecting parts and materials to build a 5 X 8 benroy stile.

It will be a fun build as I will more than likely have to order, doors, windows etc from the northern hemisphere.

I look forward to everyones feedback when I start my build.

Welcome to the play pit Kiwi. No need to go to the northern hemisphere when you can go to Aussie Teardrop Campers in Brisbane.
Enjoy your build and don't forget to post pics ;)
Cheers
Paul

Hi fellow Kiwi,
Sheddie here from Whangarei. It is good to see a few members appearing from this part of the world. Good luck with your build, and one day we may meet up in our travels.
Re. your doors. We got ours from the USA. We looked at the AUS ones but $ played a big part in our decision. We also looked at some made locally in Whangarei, but they were almost three times the price, and that included taking shipping and exchange rates into account.
