Hello ,I am from Michigan and have already built one cargo trailer conversion and sold it a couple years ago . This was before I found this site . I already have pictures posted in my album of my first build. I have bought another one and will convert that this summer so I will be browsing this site frequently and asking questions . One question I have is there any cargo trailer rallys in Mich ? Thanks Bob

I looked at your build , looks good . Wanted to send PM but dont know how . Question, was it difficult putting the window in ? Did you have to put a frame around it to stiffen it? If you cut through the support studding I presume you would have to cut the stud off just above the opening ,same as the bottom to get a horizonal brace across to the outside studding .Bob

Yes I added some angle iron (old metal bed frame) that I had laying around to the top and bottom to tie the studs together. Then I took stainless steel self drilling screws to attach the window to the trailer. The windows are the emergency exit windows for RVs that wife got off E bay for around $70.
