Time to hang up the tent and build a teardrop. I’ve already started grinding on a 5’x10’ trailer with 15” wheels and intend to rhino-line (equivalent) the frame tomorrow. The grand scheme is to have spar/stain maple finished sides and an aluminum roof with spar wood interior with some painted (OD green) accents. The trailer will be all DC power with two deep cell batteries charged by a 45 watt solar array, an alternator, or AC inverter/charger. There will also be a sink and a two burner stove. A 15 gallon cold water storage and pump will be located under the sink. There will also be a shower attached to the outside.
I’ve purchased most all of the accessories to measure, arrange, and fit into my design and it looks to be a tight fit but definitely do-able. I have a layout designed on Sketch-up if anyone is interested in the dimensions. I’ll keep posting pictures of the progress and I’m sure to ask a lot of questions along the way. I’ve been reading a lot of AWESOME forum posts that have been extremely helpful. Thank you for all the helpful tips.

csapper7, Welcome! i am a newbe here too. I live in Hiram so not too far from you. Just picked up my doner trailer and will "HOPEFULLY" start on it this weekend. as long as the work schedule and the weather hold out that is. Supposed to be nice this weekend so I am hoping.
